Destination weddings in MexicoThe moment your guests didn’t see coming

Close-up magic and mind reading in English for the cocktail hour of your destination wedding in Cancún, Tulum, Cabo or Puerto Vallarta.

Javier Natera reveals a prediction next to a guest: close-up mind reading for destination weddings in Mexico

Your guests flew in for the couple. Give them something to talk about between the vows and the first dance.

While the couple is at photos and guests are mingling, I move from group to group with close-up magic and mind reading that happens in their own hands. Guests from both families who just met end up laughing together, and the cocktail hour flies by. Everything runs in English, or bilingual when both families need it.

What it looks like on the day

  • 01

    Group by group

I move among your guests and perform for small groups, so everyone gets a moment up close.

  • 02

    In their own hands

The magic happens in your guests’ hands, not on a stage. That’s why they keep talking about it.

  • 03

    Zero setup

No stage, no sound, no lights. I work on a beach, a terrace or a garden, in the middle of the party.

FAQ

About magic at your wedding

When during the wedding do you perform?

During the cocktail hour, while the couple is at photos and guests are mingling. It’s the moment when entertainment makes the biggest difference.

How long do you perform?

A strolling set is usually about 60 minutes, which works well for around 100 guests. For larger weddings I suggest extra time; we fit it to your timeline.

Do you need a stage or sound?

No. I work among the guests with close-up magic, even on a beach or a terrace.

Is it in English?

Yes. I perform in English, in Spanish, or in both when the families are mixed.

Do you charge travel expenses?

Flights and accommodation are itemized in the proposal from the start, with no surprises. If your event lines up with other dates I have at the destination, the cost goes down.

How much does it cost?

Each proposal is priced by format, length, number of guests and destination. Proposals are quoted in U.S. dollars. Send me your event details and I’ll reply with a tailored proposal within 24 hours.
